When shifting the transmission into drive and start to accelerate the car stalls and then shut offs?

Hello, my name is Jr and i am having the worst time with my vehicle listed above. When i start my car, everything seems to be running fine until i shift into drive and start to accelerate my car stalls and then shut offs. I have a friend that told me it's a shift solenoid. Is there a mechanic out there that can tell me if he's correct about the problem please. Before i spend thousands at a transmission shop.

Hi Jr,

To me it sounds like the fuel pump is going out, but can you tell me if you have a check engine light on? If so, we should run the codes, this guide can help:

Also, when the engine shuts off will it start right back up again? Can you please upload a short video of the problem so I can see? It can be the transmission TCC solenoid if the engine stalls when coming down to a stop. FYI.
