Have not driven it yet but the guy in charge at auction said it runs rough when cold and has pressure control solenoid code. I scanned it and i just want to get your two cents on these codes.

Car was bought at auction with no announcements then arbitrated back for engine and transmission issues sounds fishy.

Hi,

None of these codes show up as an option in the manuals for this year, make, and model. Did you scan it, or did someone tell you these are the codes?

I know the 179 codes (CFE) are all related to the transmission, range, pressure, and selector. The 164 is related to the oil pressure switch, 1127 is a fuel trim issue, and the 0726 could be a crank position sensor issue or a communication issue between the ECM and the TCM. Since there are so many transmission codes, I suspect that is what it is related to. If I had to guess, I suspect there is an issue with the main pressure valve in the transmission or the internal wiring harness. However, that is a theory at this point.

Let me know if you scanned this or if the codes were provided to you. At this point, I'm not sure why they aren't listed for the aforementioned vehicle.

Let me know.

I am so sorry. I have no idea why I missed that.

Where I am getting confused is those codes are not identified for this vehicle. If you look below, I attached what I find when I try to locate specifics. I circled where the codes would be, but they aren't.

What I described above is from memory. That's why I questioned if you or someone other scanned it.

I hope you understand.
