Several codes and limp mode?

Hi,

I looked at the codes you have. I suspect the oil pressure (too high before starting) is causing the limp mode issue. The pressure can't be too high with the engine off, so suspect there is a short in the wiring to the pressure/temperature sensor or the sensor itself has shorted internally.

I attached the directions below for replacing the sensor. Before you replace it, confirm the wiring is in good condition. Also, with the key on, confirm there is a 5v power supply to it.

Where is it under the intake?

According to the directions, it is under the throttle body. They never like to make things easy.

If you look below, I attached the directions for removing the throttle body.

I removed the throttle body and i can see one sensor attached to the block which has 3 wires to it. Is that possibly it? I unplugged it so you can see it. If so, which wire should have a 5v with ignition on and what is the part number, please?

It should be a brown wire. The other two will be black and one yellow with a blue tracer. See pic below.

As far as a part number, my manual isn't providing that information.

Yes, there is a 5v on one with ignition on.

Hi,

If you have the power supply, the black wire should provide a ground path. Check to see if there is continuity to ground via that wire.

If you do, suspect the sensor is faulty.

Hi,

If we have power and ground, chances are the sensor itself is faulty and isn't sending a correct signal.

If you have gotten this far, I would replace it before reinstalling the throttle body. Hopefully that is the issue.

Replaced the sensor and started it after deleting all codes. Still no response or barely any from gas pedal. Have these codes now.

Hi,

When you say little to no response from the throttle, can you record it and upload it for me to see and hear? The one code, 120408, is usually caused by something internal. We may need to check the timing chain. Something is causing the intake cam sensor code.
