Service Ride Control, code RS0061

The service ride control is on and the code (RS0061 current) appears. From what I've read so far this is the right front suspension height sensor. Does this mean the sensor is automatically bad ? What is the first step in correcting this problem? Thanks for any information!

Hi,

Normally this is the sensor but there is a test attached that will get you to the correct issue. Let me know if you have questions but this will require you to perform some electrical testing. Here is a guide that helps explain this type of testing in case you are not familiar:
