Good day. I just finished servicing this vehicle and couldn't get the service light reset done. Please kindly provide me with the appropriate steps to do the reset. Thanks

Hi,

This vehicle isn't offered in the US, so I have no listings for it. Which lights are staying on? For example, oil change light, check engine light, or other?

Let me know and I'll try to find information for you.

Turn Off the Ignition: Make sure the vehicle is turned off.

Press and Hold the Trip Meter Reset Button: Locate the trip meter reset button, usually found on the dashboard beside the speedometer.

Turn the Ignition On: Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.

Continue Holding the Button: Keep holding the trip meter reset button for about 10 seconds.

Service Light Should Reset: The display should flash, or a beep may sound, indicating that the service light has been reset.

Release the Button and Start the Engine: Release the trip meter button and start the engine to ensure that the service light does not appear again.

Thanks for the info Ken L. This was the steps I followed previously but the light keeps staying on. I hope there's no other underlying issue with the vehicle system.

Hi,

If the service light is on, it could indicate a code is stored. As mentioned, I'm not familiar with the vehicle. If it is a check/service engine light, you will likely need a scan tool to check for codes and reset the light.

Here is a link showing what I'm referring to:

Have you tried using a scanner to see if something is stored?
