Service light fixing code P1777?

Yep, these cars had a problem with the CVT transmission, does it sound like the engine is revving but the power is not getting to the wheels? I would check the transmission fluid to see if it is burnt, also this code has to do with the stepper motor which controls the variable pully function.

P1777 on a 2009 Murano = CVT stepper (ratio-control) motor circuit fault

This stepper motor is inside the transmission so it will need to be removed to be repaired/rebuilt.
