Hi, I got my car serviced (oil change) on December 7th but my service light turned on again. I just took it to a auto shop and they reset the light but it still says "service in 30 days or 5,000 miles".

I've reset that the button twice and it's still saying I need service. I did my service on December 7th and I don't need another service until I'm at 50,000 miles. I'm currently at 48,800.

Hello,

It sounds like the ISP controller (smart junction box) is out but to be sure lets do a CAN scan which is the future of car repair and only cost about $50.00 on Amazon no subscription either. :) Watch this video:
