How do I remove the serpentine belt tensioner on an 2005 2.5 liter jetta. Is there a video available. What tools will I need. What do have to remove to gain access?

That type bolt is called an allen socket. You can use an allen set but I would recommend getting a socket set so that you can use your ratchet.

I am not sure what size but it looks like a 3/8 allen. I included a picture of the socket set so you can find what you need.

Let me know if you have questions. Thanks

Not sure I understand the question. Do you mean is that bolt the one you need to remove to get the tensioner off or to just release the tension on the belt to remove the belt?
