Serpentine belt replacement and car not starting?

I had a smooth drive home on my vehicle listed above 2.5t and i rev up the car on park only for the car to shut off and all the lights on dash boards came on, it gave a whining roll and won’t start back on, stepped out to check, found out the serpentine belt cut and got shredded. I changed the serpentine belt but still the car won’t start, keeping giving a whining sound. Everything connected on the serpentine belt turns also the timing belt rolls. I am not sure what the issue might be. Check the compression electrically its reading 120-160, the fuel supply is good.

From the description it sounds like the engine does turn over when you turn the key, but it doesn't actually start and run? If that is the case and the accessory belt had shredded, I would look for damaged wiring around the area where the belt runs. It would be easy for a small of belt to have pulled some wiring free as it flailed around. If you find some, repair it and see if it now runs.

I had mechanic come look at it and he is saying he will have to check the timing probably it jumped. Another i spoke with on the phone said the shredded belt could have wrapped around the crankshaft pulley and caused damages like bent valve. I am confused.

The engine turns because when i try to kick start the crankshaft pulley, timing, and everything connected on the serpentine belt turns but only gives a whining sound and doesn’t start..

If it's the external belt that powers the steering, water and alternator I wouldn't think it would jump time, no real way for the external belt to get to the timing belt. So, you hit the key and the engine does or doesn't rotate? If it isn't and all you get is a whine it could be the starter locked out and is engaged in the ring gear and can't turn the engine over. Think you could take a short video showing what it does? Post it using the add video link. Thank you.

A mechanic just left now and he said power isn’t getting to the coil is the reason for it not starting.

Yes, when i turn the key, it moves rotationally as it gives the whining sound. A mechanic just left now, he said definitely not the timing belt/setting, there is fuel supply, but power isn’t getting to the coil and plugs reason for it not starting.

Yes, that would cause a problem. I would take a test light and use it to check the fuses and relay that powers the coils and more. Fuse B10 is the power fuse for the coils. The relay that powers it all is there under the hood on the left shock tower.

I don’t have a tester but i look at all the fuse but none looks blown.

Just looking at them doesn't tell you if there is power at them though, that is the idea behind using a test light. You can make one easy enough, a replacement light socket with extended wiring to use as a test light.

I have checked it all and there is power in the fuses. I don’t know where else to look or what else to do?

Okay, turn on the key and check at one of the green with white wires at any of the coils, is there power there? If yes then the mechanic was mistaken, if there is no power to those wires then you will need to trace that wire back to the fuse box as it's broken. Or if you want to see for sure, just connect a jumper wire between one of the green with white wires and battery positive. If it now starts you know it's in that wire between the splice and the fuse box. The diagram shows the power feed with red noting the path That is the green with white wire.

You need to remove the plastic loom to get to the actual wires under it.
