serpentine belt pulley replacement

If the bearing is squeaking then this may work but the are not sold separate because the tensioner is a loaded pulley to put the tension on the belt and they don't want people "messing" with that.

If you are just looking for a part source on the pulley, then I am not sure we have a source for this either. I checked a number of different sites, even ebay for just the pulley and I don't find anyone selling just the pulley.

I would suggest either buying the entire part and remove it from the new one or going to a salvage yard. They may have it or at least cheaper and then you can remove the pulley from that one.

Yes, thank you very much for the prompt reply, I have since posting have learned they do not sell just the roller and for the reasons you stated. Now getting the A/C unit out of the way to get all the tensioner bolts off has proven to be utterly impossible I have the A/C unbolted but due to the fan shroud and coolant overflow it only moves a couple of inches and I just can't get the last belt tensioner bolt out, but I will keep trying!

Unfortunately, it is not easy when that stuff is in the way. Are you using swivel sockets so that you can get to it from different angles? I think they are the best invention for mechanics.

Get a picture of what you are dealing with and we can probably give you some ideas on how to access it.

Actually just saw this now. so, no I don't have any pictures but finally got the belt tensioner replaced and the abrasions on my hands should heal in a couple of months. Glad it's done!
