when i bought this van the belt was reduced to to two grooves ret was missing. i put new Dayco on worked fine for 1,000 miles or more. then i had a no spark issue an noticed inside edge of belt missing and it tangled around HB and cracked crank sensor. I replaced crankshaft position sensor and kept same belt and that was working for a few hundred miles until the other day, i let it idle for thirty minutes and it quit, went under hood and belt was all wrapped up on HB!

check the pulleys and make sure there is nothing stuck to them, then check for allignment. see if any pulleys are loose or if one has some bearing going bad. Sometime it is hard getting them just right in the groves.
