Where are the camshaft position sensor and crankshaft sensors located?

Hi,

The camshaft position sensor is located at the front of the engine, center, below the intake manifold. See pics 1 and 2 below.

The crankshaft position sensor is located at the rear of the engine close to the firewall. See pics 3 and 4.

When I change these sensors do I need to use a scan tool to delete them off BCM?

Hi,

If you are referring to the diagnostic trouble codes, I would delete them to make sure they don't return. If you wait long enough, they could clear on their own, but it may take some time.
