Code P0328

Engine in the past week has come on a few times. Thought it was my gas cap but I replaced it and it still came on.
Twice in the morning it stayed on all the way to work but after letting it sit for 15 minutes and starting the van up again it stayed off.
After work I started the van the light was on. I took it to a local auto parts store where they had me connect a hand held scan tool. The parts store employee said it came up "P0328"knock sensor 1 circuit high input (bank 1).
What is this and should I be driving? Is this an easy fix for DIY guy?

The knock sensor is what is used to determine if the engine may be running a little off and knocking. It is called spark knock and it will adjust the fuel and timing to make it go away.

Sorry, I am not that experienced, but I will look up the information you have me to get a better understanding. Still learning and your information is very appreciated.

Could something as simple as a spark plug no fire cause this? It is long due for a tune up.
Also could excessive noise like vibration do this?
In the cabin you can hearfeel the A/C compressor at low rpm. Could that trigger the sensor?

I would not think it is not firing but I would think it is not completely burning the air/fuel mixture. So you could be correct but not for that reason. I would replace the spark plugs and go from there.

I doubt the compressor would cause it but stranger things could happen. However, let's start with the plugs and go from there.
