Seems like ABS system is engaging every time brakes are pressed

In the last week the brakes have become difficult to press down and then it seems like the ABS system is engaging to compensate. It did this before a while ago but only when going at slower speeds, but now it does it all the time.

This is common when one of the front wheel bearing hubs is going out. to see which side, raise the car in the front and grasp the top and bottom of the wheel to see which one has play.
