Seem to be locked out of driver seat controls

I just purchased this vehicle and when testing it all the controls worked. on my drive home while moving I went to save my seating position on the door panel. I held the button down for several seconds and a loading bar came across the left screen on the instrument cluster (like when resetting your trip 1 or 2). after that I cannot move my seat at all, the steering wheel will not adjust, the heated/cooled seats do not work only on that seat, and the easy in/out function is now unselectable. it's almost like I locked myself out of the seat functions. any help out there?
