Security reset?

I lost keys to the truck. Replaced key cylinder. I have tried to do the ten- and thirty-minute resets several times, but the security light never goes off within ten minutes. Truck starts for just a few seconds. Won’t run. Is there anything else I could try?

This happens when the security system has a functionality error. You can try a hard reboot which is done by removing the negative side of the battery, with the cable loose from the negative side of the battery, hold it to the positive terminal for 1 minute this will discharge the memory capacitors in the BCM and PCM allowing the system to reboot.
