This will solve the theft issue but it is likely to cause some VIN mismatch issues. The reason is the BCM pretty much controls this theft system but it needs valid input from the key and other inputs listed below to disarm the system and allow the SKIS system to tell the PCM to start the engine.

Couple options may be cheaper and easier and that is to put all your original parts back on and just get a key programmed to the vehicle.

The other option is to look into getting a PCM that has this system deleted. That way you can just use any key that fits the vehicle and does not require programming. Clearly this comes with concessions as well but it is just a PCM replacement rather then all these other parts.

The reason I would recommend against all this is what if one of these parts has an issue with it? Then you have to use them in order to solve the theft issue but now you need to replace it or fix the new issue which is just going to put you back in the same situation.

If it were me, I would just go back and get replacement keys but let me know if you have questions and we can go from there. Thanks

Thank you for your response. You have been more helpful with my problem than anybody else I've asked. Most don't answer back. I will try the stung PCM. Why not eliminate the problem?

Sounds great. Thanks for the update. Please let us know what happens. Just make sure you use a company that offers a warranty on their PCMs because they are just using PCMs out of other cars and they wipe the circuit board of the theft system so it doesn't look for it. However, I have seen where it has other issues that they were not aware of and when you install it you get that new issue.

If l have the vats removed from my PCM, is it okay to remove the immobilizer? And is there anything else needs to be done to the BCM?

If this is the only issue then you do not need to remove anything or do anything with the BCM. I would just leave it all there. Basically what will happen is the PCM will get the ignition switch battery voltage and not look for a secret code from the theft system and just start the Jeep.

There are many companies out there that do this but I would just find one that you like and follow their instructions as some vehicles require different things but from what I remember the Chrysler products just need the PCM.
