Security immobilizing system

when I try to start the truck turn the key to on position everything turns off, lights on dash everything. However, if I hit driver door just right everything comes back on for me to start the truck sometimes it starts and sometimes not. the security immobilizing light came on after a battery change.

One thing I can think off is a fault with door switch. The switch is intermittently not registering as unlocked and this would result in the immobilizer system being activated.

Banging the door could have triggered switch to act normal at times. I would suggest checking the door switch. It could be loose due to worn links and not working accurately.
