I am sure you do but do you have the keys with the chip in them? Meaning it is not just a metallic key that starts the car but it has the keys that have to be programmed to the vehicle.
If this is the case then unfortunately we have to disarm this using the transmitter or putting a valid key into the ignition and turning it on.
If this is not working then we have another issue that is not disabling the system.
I attached the info about this system below so you can read about it. If you are not sure, just send me the last 8 of your VIN and I can look it up and tell you how it is equipped.
If the lock smith deprogramed it then I would be calling them back and ask they fix that as the remote would shut this off.
Another option is to purchase a PCM that has this system deleted. However, this may be about the same price as having the dealer program a new transmitter to the vehicle but it may be worth calling around to check prices. Also, this is no longer a dealer only process. Most repair shops that are normally cheaper then the dealer can access the security module with their tools to program a new transmitter. Just another option for you.
