The security light is flashing and the fuel gauge stopped working as well as the blinkers and horn and it all started after it would not shift out of park. I got it to shift, but cannot figure out how to get everything else to work.

try resetting security system first, then it may be a fuel gauge/sender problem. see picture on how to do it. If battery is weak have that checked as well including load test.
