So, I’m getting this P0202 code when I connect OBD to car. The car keeps misfiring every now and then if not given loads of acceleration. It cuts off and glow plug light and engine light start to flash but then go off once engine is manually started again. Car going into limp mode too. Evans Halshaw who I brought car off charging me £150 for a diagnostic. I have a warranty with them and if the problem is covered by the warranty, then I won’t have to pay for diagnostic. Please someone help me with what could be the problem. And will it cost a lot to fix. Also, should I be driving?

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0202 in a 2015 SEAT Leon indicates a problem with the fuel injector circuit for cylinder 2.

Here is a guide to help you test the injector and if bad replace it:

Thank you for the info. Would you know what would be the cause of this? I have only owned the car for a month and had no issues then all of a sudden, the car cuts off and glow plug light starts to flash. Since then, the car keeps going into limp mode and acceleration is poor and car feels jerky to drive in second or third gear.

Also, there is no engine light present or glow plug light. Should I still get it checked? My guarantee covers 'injectors’ however they are charging me to get it checked for diagnosis. I’m just worried if they check it and say won’t guarantee won’t cover the repair then I won’t get my money back for diagnostic.

It sounds like the throttle body can need service which can cause the engine to go into limp mode. Also, let's check the MAF sensor. If the sensing element is dirty replace the sensor.

Here is a guide to help you with the service:
