seat belt timer will not turn off

My seat belt timer will not turn off. I already removed the fuse for this but it continues two ding ding ding! And it is really annoying. What can I do? please help! Thanks very much.

The micro switch in the stalk may be stuck. try blowing out the buckle with air, you may just have dust or dirt stopping the switch from working. try this first.
