2008 Scion xD Amount of oil drained

I just performed an oil change on my Xd and after draining the oil from the oil pan and the filter, it measured a little under 2 quarts. The engine was warm and I allowed it to drain for 45 minutes. The oil that I use is Mobil 1 0w-20....is this type of oil a factor for a lesser amount to drain out? I park in the same spot everyday and there have not been any leaks of any sort since my last oil change.
