OK so spent the last two days changing my clutch, got it out got the new one in, and refilled the transmission, I filled from the reverse sensor with the fill plug off and put 3 full qts in with nothing comming out that we saw. I knew it was a little more than needed but left it.
I drove the car it worked fine, and drove fine I went out this morning and there was a puddle of fluid under my car, its a very very slow leak and seems to have not started till I turned into my parking spot last night.
It still goes into gear fine no resistance and from the fill plug I can feel the fluid in the transmission with my finger.
My question is will our transmissions leak if over filled to get back to the proper level?
Any help would be awesome
