Scanner not picking up ECU, code p2367

No communication with engine ECU, but transmission ECU okay. Cannot identify engine ECU but transmission can p2367 on. Check entire wiring and sensors and fuses. Gearbox locked in limp mode on third gear. It is an automatic.

P2367 is a no communication CAN bus error code. It would be set if there is an issue with any of the modules that use that data bus. About the only way to test it would be with an oscilloscope to see the CAN signal and then determine which module is pulling the CAN bus down. If the engine is still running it is likely not the ECU but another module that is causing the problem.
