2004 Saturn Vue oil filter location

Open the hood look at the side of the engine facing the radiator u will see a black plastic cap with a nut molded into the top of it.they sell a gm 2.2 engine oil filter socket that fits it I recomend getting one of those for ur oil changes.it's a canister oil filter there's no covering over the filter.make sure u get the correct filter if u put the 3.0 filter in it u will damage the engine.
