I ahve recently been having a problem with my 03 Saturn Vue.
It starts out, with the security laight flashing a little bit on and off. Then the service, and check ingine lights come on steady. Then the Red Break light comes on, then I loose my power steering, and all of my gague on my dash. My usual mac. has tried trouble shooting this problem, and has found that a wire is buring out in the man computer(under the dash). He has been able to do this fix for me, but the probelm keps coming back. The car drives fine for a day or two, and then back to the little flashing security light and all the other problems follow. It is like it happens the same every time the lights then no PR steering then no gauges.
We replaced the Ignition switch(it was bad) we were thinking that it might have something to do with sending a bad signal to the computer, which was causing everythiung else to fry. My dad was saying it may have to do with the electric pwr steering pump, I have also had a whining in my steeruing wheel forever, but was told there was no proble,ms. I have also been told that saturns are know for bad wiring. Can you please help me? I need some insight here:) I have put so much money in my car lately to no avail! Please help!
