Electric power steering problem

It sounds like the EPS module is going out becasue there is only two fuses and a controller with a motor that makes up the system. The motor supplies the power steering. But you should check the fuses just to be safe. Here is a guide on how to do the test.

Sometimes when I start the car the electric power steering does not work. Other times it does work. I can turn the car off and back on and might work. There times when you turn it on a it works for a few seconds. I think the unit is bad I will try to get a used one to save money thanks for your help you guys are the best on the internet :)

Here is the fuse I thought might be causing the problems.

Replace the fuse with a known good fuse. If the problem continues, the problem may lie within the electronic power steering module. Located at the steering column. Unfortunately, diagnostic for the system is not available.
