This probably doesn't belong under "electrical" but didn't know where else to put it.
It has gotten very hard to be able to turn the key to start. Key goes in fine, turns okay at first, but it's very tricky to get its to turn it all the way to start the car, without all kinds of wiggling and shaking of the key and the problem is getting worse.
It happens with both keys. Keys work fine in door locks.
Do I need the ignition cylinder, if that's the right term, replaced? What kind of repair facility do I need? Cost estimate?
Thanks in advance!!!
Best,
John

most likely this is a shift interlock issue preventing key from being turned. make sure your shifter is all the way in PARK. if this doesn't help, will need to test the neutral safety start switch.
