1996 Saturn SW2 Cruise Control

could be the cruise control cable being adjusted too tight or too loose.look down by ur gas pedal theres a silver cable going to to ur pedal theres a black piece of plastic that attaches to the pedal thats ur adjustment.my guess is its too loose if u pull back on that black piece u can turn it it should turn easy when u pull back dont forcse it u turn it one way it gets looser the other way tightens it.adjust it to where there is no slack in the cable but not too tight to where its not pulling the pedal away from where its resting point is just keep adjusting it so theres no slack in it thats about it let me know how it goes.
