Transaxle potential speed sensor problem?

Service Engine light is on and intermittently car rpm revs higher and car lurches forward briefly when slowing down to a stop, sluggish acceleration from stop and hard banging into reverse. Possible input or output speed sensor problem? Not a mechanic so I can't scan for codes. Thanks.

Okay, thanks. The fluid level is okay, and filter is newish. Will get a scanner and follow the guides to get the codes. Will report back with results.

Okay, here are the codes before erasing them which by the way turned off the check engine light and surprisingly so far has returned the Transmission to normal operation although I haven't driven much. Just FYI.

Transmission sensor code is back and problem with transmission back. Any advice?

Okay, I discovered the black/white ground wire was disconnected from the sensor. I reconnected and it ran fine for a bit then failed again to same problem. Now a funny noise is coming from the sensor when the engine is running. Maybe it's shot?

Okay, classic amateur mistake. Attached the ground to wrong terminal. Got it right and she runs like new. My old warhorse is back in business. Thanks for the scanner tip you saved me a bundle! Cheers!
