2003 Saturn SL2 brake light stays on

my saturn sl2 brake light comes on after a couple seconds of driving and goes off when i stop . also when i go to stop i have to press the brake pedal further and takes car longer to stop, brakes are only four or five month old.

as far as the light goes unplug the connector from the master cyclinder jump the the two wires across cycle the key see if the light goes out If it does then u have a bad switch If The master cylinder Is full.if the car is jerking in the front ur rotors are warped.if u pull up on ebrake arm while driving without locking the arm if u feel the jerking then it's ur drums warped.as far as ur low pedal adjust ur rear brakes let me know what u find.
