NOTE: The threads on the Saturn knock sensor are different than other knock sensors. Damage to the engine block could occur if the incorrect type of knock sensor is installed. REMOVAL Turn ignition Off. CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE VEHICLE IS PROPERLY SUPPORTED AND SQUARELY POSITIONED PRIOR TO LIFTING Jack or raise vehicle. NOTE: The connector must be removed by squeezing the sides. Apply pressure to sides of connector gently. Do not pull on wires. Disconnect electrical connector from knock sensor. Remove knock sensor. INSTALLATION Install knock sensor. - Torque: 15 NM (133 in. lbs) Connect electrical connector to the knock sensor.
