my 1997 saturn SL2 Twin Cam it can go in drive but when you put it in reverse it won't go into reverse

So when you put it in reverse you have no reverse?The more detail's the better.

yea when yo put the car in reverse it won't go in reverse but when yo put it in ddrive it goes in drive park it parks

Can you go to a auto part's like auto zone and have them scan the car for code's?Then bring me the code number's you have then we can go from there.
