1996 Saturn SL2 Transmission Reverse sticking

Hi I have a transmission problem. The transmission is sticking in gear you have to give it some gas for it to back up and the gears are shifting slow. What could be the problem

u could have a loose input shaft nut low line pressure in the transmission a bad 2nd gear piston not holding pressure.alot of differnt things ur best bet is to have it checked out by someone that knows saturn transmissions.good luck and let me know what u find.
