1996 Saturn SL2

Drivers side door latch will not catch so the door will not latch and stay closed.

How do you remove to replace the latch mechanism.

are you sure the latch is bad?

if you can not shut the door, to where it "looks" closed. then the latch just may be in the lock position and needs to be reset.
