1996 Saturn SL2 lighting

Do your brake light's all work normal when you press the brake pedal?Also what other light's come on when press the brake pedal other then the brake light's?Have you replaced any brake light's recently?If so which one's?

Replaced drivers side brake light bulb several weeks back. ALL lights, with the exception of the dome light, brighten when you press the brake pedal and the marker lights light up as well as the turn signal lights also. This was acting up before I replaced the brake light bulb. Replaced battery about 3 weeks ago. New alternator about 1 year ago.

Also, all lights operate normally when headlight switch is on but pressing brake still illuminates brighter.

The first thing I would try is to remove both rear brake blubs then see if the other light's get brighter still.Also with the dash lights off does the dash lights come on when you step on the brakes?
