First of all thank you very much for your donation. So are you only having it jerk when hitting the gas to accelerate? Is it worse with the a/c on?Also can you go to a auto part's store like auto zone and have them check your car for code's?If you have any code's let me know what the number's are?

So are you only having it jerk when hitting the gas to accelerate? Is it worse with the a/c on?Try this take off your spark plug wire's one by one off the coil tower's so you don't get them mixed up and see if the coil tower's are corroded.Real common for that on your year and model.Let me know what you find.

Is it worse with the a/c on?If your a/c works it sound's like i would check your plug's and wire's.The wire's breaking down is the most common reason for that. You could check and see what your fuel pressure is also.

I posted the firing order for you the big box show's the cylinder location's on the engine and the small box show's the coil's and which cylinder's go to which coil's.Please double check for me i want to cover all are base's here. Also you don't want a platnuim or split fire plug's in your engine you just want a stock plug.Let me know the make and number of the plug's you have in your engine.

So your wire's were routed correctly? You can't run platinum plug's in your car they carbon foul i would change them see if you can get your money back on the plug's.I recommend
NGK Spark Plug: Plug No. BKR5ESA-11 or
ac delco
Part No.
41627
Let me know after you change the plug's and we will go from there.

Alright now don't have to worry about the plug's.Have you replaced the coolant temp sensor before? When they go bad which do often they cause all kind's of problem's including surging jerking etc.

I didn't know you had a scanner that could read live engine data alright hears what you can do the coolant temp sensor's can be tricky to diagnose sometimes. You will have to watch the coolant temp on the scanner and compare it to the actual temp with your temp gun till the fan come's.Watch for unstable coolant temp on your scanner meaning bouncing around a lot the fan will come on from 222-226 degree's.Sometimes the sensor's don't act up till the higher coolant temp's or can even very intermintant in showing a failure. Also was the connector you checked corroded?Which connector did you check the top or the bottom one?Let me know what you find.
