My SL2's transmission is going to go out soon. My question is what is the newest year that has the same tranny? I want to go to the junk yard and find the newest year that is compatible with mine. Thanks!!

Depends on series of tranny.

If your car has the SOHC engine then you can get a 95 - 2002 tranny out of another S-series as long as it also has the SOHC engine. If you have DOHC then the tranny will only work from 93 -95 meaning '95 is already newest you can get..
