1995 Saturn SL2 Question on the radio...

I could be wrong but i don't ever remember the S model saturn having a cd/cassette i know the L model did but don't remember the S model having it.So look's like your out of luck on that one.I know jensen radio's made a cd/cassette that fit right into the 91-94 S model saturn's they sold them at walmart.In 1995 they changed the dash and radio like the one in your's so that one would't fit.I would check with jensen though they might make one that fit's that newer dash.They also sell pig tail connector's so you don't have to cut into the factory harness to put in a aftermarket radio.Also they have install kit's so the aftermarket radio's fit in the saturn's pretty nice.

I could have been wrong as well. Do you know if there is a cd one for the S?

Yes they made a cd player for the S model i have one in 1999 SL2.If you don't have a cassette eq in your car now you will want to get the speaker's that are in the car with your cd.The cd and cassette eq radio's have amplifer's and use differnt oem speaker's.So if you use the old speaker's with ethier radio you blow the speaker's.If the oem speaker's in your car say 10 ohm on the magnet then you can't use them with the cd player.They won't match the radio won't sound right and you will blow them.You can use a 1995-1999 radio and speaker's in that car.

I like the sony explodes they sound good and are easy to install on the saturn's.
