This car has had 3 count them 3 new clusters put into it and still none of them work Can some one tell me possibly what this is ???

Also Keep In mind a Mechanic himself was doing all the work and still couldn't figure it out .. .. would a smart choice be to take it into a dealership to have them figure it out or should i just try a shop that is better suited for foreign cars

start simply with checking your fuses if that checks out trace the wires that are running to the cluster panel to make sure there are no short circuits or open circuits if both of these check out post back with me and i will help you with this problem

if all fuses were good and all wires were fine then you may have a problem with the computer not letting the cluster panel work or there may be wires crossed and running to the wrong places

yes it is possible that it came from the factory like that they may have cross wired the cluster panel a way to find this out would be looking at technical service bulletins for your vechile and see of any recalls or bulletins have been posted about this problem also replacing the computer should not be done until you check for recalls and bulletins
