GEAR SHIFT LINKAGE BROKE AND THE CAR IS STUCK IN SECOND GEAR. HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO REPAIR THE LINKAGE BETWEEN THE SHIFT HANDLE AND THE TRANSMISSION??? THANKS

If ur talking about the cable end that attaches to the inside shifter under shifter boot then yes it's easy to fix u would just take out the console and the make a new kit that snaps in.just go to eBay type in the search box Saturn shifter cables and the kits will come up they have plastic ones and metal ones depending on how much u want to spend.let me know.
