2000 Saturn SL1 windshield wipers

2000 Saturn SL1

Driverside wiper acts erratically. Sometimes it's fine, but more and more it is getting worse. It seems to be out of sinc w/the other blade. I did switch the arms last year because I thought someone prior had switched them. It is a used car.

Pull the arm back off and get a look at the condition of the post of the pivot on the wiper transmission as well as the inside of the arm socket. MAke sure its clean. Re-seat it where it should be in regards to the other wiper arm and tighten it. Turn the wipers on to make sure they are back in sync.
