Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Saturn SL1 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
So my friend has a '97 Saturn SL1. the ignition on her car apparently works sporadically. the car runs fine when it actually starts, but sometimes when she puts the key in the ignition it doesn't turn. (the steering wheel is not in the locked position.)
could it be a problem with the key? it looks really worn, but i wouldn't think that would be much of a problem.
If the ignition needed to be replaced what is a ballpark figure of the cost?
