My odometer/trip odometer stopped working some time ago although all the other guages on the panal continued to work. This past weekend we installed another set of guages and everything works except the odometer and trip odometer once again. Is there something else we should replace? There is no cable but there has to be another sensor somewhere we are just unable to locate. Can someone please help me with this?

Can't find a reason the PCM drives the speedo via Vehicle Speed Sensor then an integerated circuit runs OD steper motor. So with speedo working the only thing I see is that circuit which is part of cluster. Are you certain OD worked in replacenent cluster.

No, I'm not sure it worked in previous vehicle but I thought it too coincidental that in 2 separate sets of guages... these are the only two items that don't work. (the odometer and the tripometer.) Is there a sensor somewhere else we could test or replace?

It works like I stated VSS is only sensor and it is working cause speedo works an intergrated circuit in cluster takes speedo pulses and drives OD so cluster has to be faulty
