1994 Saturn SL1 Clutch Does not disengauge completley

When u replaced the clutch did u replace the clutch slave or master?is ur clutch pedal firm from the moment u start pushing it till it hits the floor?or does it go down a little ways before it get firm.let me know what u find.

No I did not replace the master and the slave cylinder. The pedal does go down a little before you start to feel pressure. I found another site today where they recommend replacing both at the same time as the clutch. Do you agree that I should do this.

If the pedal goes down some before it gets hard then u need to replace the clutch master and slave together get it as a assembly all together everyone that has bought the two seperately has never been able to get them to bleed I would start by replacing that first.what did the old clutch do that u repalced.let me know how it goes.

The clutch came apart is the reason we replaced it. We picked up a master and slave combo today and replaced them, problem solved. Thanks for the help!
