Suspension problem
2001 Saturn Sedan Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I got my car stuck in the snow trying to get out of my driveway yesterday. After about a half an hour of digging and rocking and spinning my tires, we finally got it free. However, during the process, I noticed that the body of the car seemed to have raised up a bit exposing much more of the wheel well than normal. I have also noticed that when I push down on the rear of the car, e.i. closing the truck, I don't get the usual bounce. It feels very stiff and almost locked at an elevated height.

never heard of cold causing a car to raise the car up and keep it there.the strut or shock only dapens the ride what holds the car up is the spring so that doesnt make sense and did u bounce on the car or only close the trunk to figure out the suspension doesnt work?
