1. Quotes for getting transmission replaced?
2. Is it worth to get it replaced? Is it possible to know how much more life the engine has?

This will depend on how well the engine maintenance was kept up. If so a Saturn motor can do 200k very easily. Some transmission problems are simpler to fix than others. If you give me more info. on the problem I can tell you more.
