Transmission problem
1995 Saturn Sedan 4 cyl Automatic 132000 miles

My dad just bought me a 1995 Saturn, it seems to be runnin ok, unitl it tries to change to third gear? Is this a common problem with this type of car? Also, i can not seem to find the transmission dipstick. I also do not know where to add more transmission fluid

You check the fluid and add the fluid the same place.If your facing the car the dipstick is on the right it's close the the oil dipstick.It's not common to have problem's with just 3rd gear.What code's do you have?

Codes, what exactly do you mean by codes. I am sorry, this is my first car, and I know nothing about cars.

I posted how to get code's the connector you jump is on the drivers side left hand lower steering column cover.Let me know what code's come up.
