when im driving around 40-60 i hear a thump that is coming from the rear... it sounds almost like when you run over gravel and it kicks up under your car but a lower pitch

Sounds like u most likely have a cupped tire take and run ur hand over the surfaces of both rear tires and feel for unevenness let me know what u find.
